Casting stage, liquid porcelain is strained into plaster molds. |
After water has been absorbed by plaster you can open the mold. |
The figure is pulled gently out of the mold. |
Bigger objets repuire to stay more time inside the mold. |
Touch up stage, the master craftsmen put the finishing touches a to the object. |

All the flowers too are created one by one by the master craftsmen. |
Singles roses are gently assambled, petal by petal, that's a work that requires years of experience. |
Some objects are then finished by putting in little porcelain flowers. |
Usually porcelain's cooking stages are 4: 1- 800°C cooking called "bisquit". 2- 1300°C cooking during which the object is subjected to a 20%. 3- 800°C color cooking. 4- Possible 800°C gold cooking. |
In this picture you can see the 20% decrease in size suffered by the object, before and after the 1300°C. cooking. The two objects are the same, but the one on the left is the result of the cooking. |
The object are hand painted by master craftsmen. |
The hand-cart is gently pushed inside the kiln, the cooking will last at least 24 hours. |
Inside the kiln the colours come to life, the gold, that was black, takes on its bright colour. |
Each object is tested with four quality controls, then it is packed with its certificate of Authenticity. |
